Memorial Art Scholarship

Each year the Chelmsford Art Society offers the Richard J. Clemente Memorial Art Scholarship in the amount of $500.00. This scholarship goes to a deserving person who has indicated a desire to further his or her education in Fine Arts/Visual Arts at a recognized school of art education. Applicants are judged on their drawing ability, imagination, understanding and use of color, design and composition and variety of media. The proper presentation of work is carefully considered by the Scholarship Committee. The recipient is notified and public recognition is made at CAS Annual 4 th of July Art Festival. The cholarship winner is expected to attend this ceremony and also provide several matted and/or framed pieces for display.
